A creative partner working through the body and movement to support storytelling, expression, and collective discovery.

I work with artists, organizations, and institutions to explore how embodied practice—rooted in dance—
can activate meaning, connection, and change across creative, educational, and civic contexts.

Meet Emily

A woman with wavy blonde hair wearing a white t-shirt and patterned black and white skirt dancing with a curved spine and arms overhead, against a background with an abstract coral shape

I’m a highly creative, multifaceted thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and a dyslexic brain that allows me to perceive systems, patterns, and possibilities in dynamic, interconnected ways.

Dance at the Intersection is a container I’ve developed to hold my creative practice—spanning choreography, facilitation, consulting, mentorship, writing, and embodied exploration.

At the center of my work is one guiding question: What becomes possible when we treat dance as a tool for positive change?

About

While my work takes many forms, it is guided by a single belief: dance is not a niche art form—it is a powerful tool for connection, meaning-making, and social transformation.

Whether I’m collaborating on a creative project, mentoring an artist, or advising a funder, I bring the same values: curiosity, embodiment, rigor, and vision.

Ways We Might Work Together

  • Group of people dancing outdoors with arms outstretched, in front of a brick building with signs and lights.

    Creative Partnership

Dance can help you tell a story, bring a space to life, build community, or facilitate social interaction in a unique and engaging way - the possibilities are endless! Together, we explore the intersection between movement, environment, community, and intention—allowing something unexpected and transformational to emerge.

    Artist Pathways & Mentorship

I support dancers who are reimagining what it means to build a life with dance. By exploring its intersections with well-being, cultural heritage, entrepreneurship, and social change, I offer mentorship and online learning that expand possibilities beyond traditional career models.

  • Modern conference room with a large wooden table, orange leather chairs, a small plant on the table, a colorful abstract artwork on the white wall, glass walls with black frames, and gray curtains.

    Systems & Strategy

I partner with philanthropic organizations and arts investors to design programs, frameworks, and strategies that strengthen the performing arts ecosystem. My work focuses on identifying leverage points where creative practice, funding, and community impact can align in sustainable ways.

If you have an idea, a question, or a challenge—and a sense that movement might be part of the answer—I’d love to explore what partnership could look like.
